Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By agreeing to upload your stock or purchase goods from the The Electricians Trading Point Trading Platform you agree to the mentioned Terms & Conditions listed below:

General / Overview

The following Terms & Conditions shall apply to the relationship between Electricians Trading Point which is registered as Source co Services Pty Ltd and the end user. By using Electricians Trading Point services, You accept these Terms & Conditions, as well as the manner in which Electricians Trading Point operates. These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Electricians Trading Point and You and supersede and replace all prior commitments, undertakings or representations, whether written or oral, between You and Electricians Trading Point with respect of Your use of Electricians Trading Point.

Electricians Trading Point (ETP) facilitates the sale of products between those that own and wish to sell products and those that wish to buy products from the owners of products.

ETP facilitates the sale of new, second hand and refurbished products.

The services that ETP provide in the sale facilitation process include:

  1. Management, development and maintenance of the ETP website: electricianstradingpoint.com.au
  2. Management of the integrity of the sale transaction
  3. Coordination of the transportation from the Seller’s location to the point of delivery nominated by the Buyer
  4. Facilitation of information transfer between the Buyer and the Seller
  5. Facilitation of Warranty Claims

Due to various complexities in relation to Buyer and Seller details, product specifications, product location and the various warranty provisions, ETP treats each transaction individually and dependent upon agreement by the Buyer and the Seller.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

If You do not agree to the Terms & Conditions, do not use Electricians Trading Point. If You access, use, or download in any way any service from Electricians Trading Point, You agree to and are bound by these Terms & Conditions and also acknowledge that (a) You have had the opportunity to review the tutorials regarding the use of Electricians Trading Point. (b) You have either reviewed the tutorials or have chosen not to do so, and (c) You have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the use of Electricians Trading Point by telephone or email and to have those questions answered.

Location of Goods

Goods and products are stored at ETP’s warehouse located at 21 Activity Crescent, Molendinar, Queensland 4214, Australia as well as at the Buyers location.

The cost of transport to the Buyers nominated location is calculated on a case by case basis and is coordinated by ETP and included in the Final Sale Price.

Important Transportation Notice

Please note that all transportation charges will be advised to the Buyer and added during the invoicing process.  Obvious damage to the item from transport or packaging damaged during transport must be reported to Electricians Trading Point upon receipt.

Shipping Methods

Shipping methods include Express Post, Courier and Regular Post. Our courier service is fast, reliable, cost-effective and offers a full tracking facility for your goods.  

Expected Delivery Time – Expect most deliveries in 2 – 4 working days from the original purchase date. You will be notified of any shipping delays by email or phone.

Freight – International Orders

All orders outside Australia can only be paid by bank draft in Australian funds (only) or a direct wire transfer to our bank. The postage costs of goods must be added to the order total after contacting us.  Please contact us via e-mail sales@electricianstradingpoint.com.au to inquire about placing an order or any questions you may have.

Catalogue and Website Contents

All of the prices, contents and specifications on the ETP web site are correct as to the best of ETP’s knowledge and are subject to change without notice.  We reserve the right to change specifications, product descriptions, pricing and applications at any time without further obligation.

Availability of Goods

ETP cannot guarantee that all goods and products are in stock at the time of order placement and may sometimes experience delays that are out of our control due to nil stock, back orders, shipping delays etc.  If an item is to be delayed for any period of time what so ever you will be notified immediately, either by email or phone call and advised of the estimated time of delivery.

Orders Paying by Cheque, Money Order or PayPal

If you choose cheque, money order or PayPal to purchase your products we will notify you of the final purchase amount including freight at the time of confirming your order.

Payment terms

Payment terms are set by the Seller and then facilitated by ETP.  Payment terms are generally as per the following:

  1. Payment in full to ETP prior to dispatching the goods – The Buyer then has 5 days to accept or decline the goods; ETP holds the payment funds for 5 days prior to releasing the funds to the Seller
  2. 30 day terms (or as agreed to by the Buyer and ETP on behalf of the Seller) and after approval of a completed account application by the Buyer. All ETP’s debtors are insured and therefore an account application must be approved by ETP’s credit insurer.

The Buyer shall have the right to inspect the goods on arrival and within 5 business days after delivery, buyer must give notice to seller of any claim for damages on account of condition, quality or grade of the goods, and the Buyer must specify the basis of the claim of the Buyer in detail. The failure of Buyer to comply with these conditions shall constitute irrevocable acceptance of the goods by Buyer.

Returns / Cancellations

If You wish to cancel an order in accordance with the Electricians Trading Point Returns Policy, You must inform Electricians Trading Point by email that You want to cancel within the time period noted above. Cancellations by phone will be accepted or email sales@electricianstradingpoint.com.au

Electricians Trading Point will not accept a return if You are unable to return the service or product received or are only able to return it in part or in a damaged or used condition. Should Electricians Trading Point incur additional costs for insufficient postage on the return, these costs will be deducted from any previous payment remitted by You.

Ownership of Title

The Seller warrants that the Goods are free, and that at the time of delivery shall be free, from any security interest or other lien or encumbrance.

ETP will ensure proof of ownership of goods and products through the inspection of the Sellers original receipts or other means of ownership evidence.

Title of goods and products remain with the Seller until payment has been received in full by ETP.

Warranty of Goods and Products

The warranty extended to the Buyer is as nominated by the Seller.  Generally the Warranty of Goods and Products will fall under the one of the following:

  1. All warranty claims are processed through each individual product manufacturer and is subject to their policies and approval

or

  1. The Buyer will have no warranty recourse once accepted during the 5 day inspection period that commences once the Buyer receives the goods

The warranty provisions will be stated at the time of purchase.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Electricians Trading Point and its members, managers, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, licencors, and other partners (collectively, the “Indemnified Persons”) harmless from any loss, cost, expense, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, suffered by any Indemnified Persons due to, arising out of, or in connection with (i) Your use of Electricians Trading Point or any of the services offered by Electricians Trading Point, (ii) any violation of these Terms & Conditions by You or any person acting in collusion with You, (iii) any violation of applicable law or court order by You, and (iv) any negligence or willful misconduct by You.

Trade-marks

Electricians Trading Point logos are trademarks of Electricians Trading Point. All rights reserved. Any trademarks appearing on Electricians Trading Point are the property of their respective owners.

 

Notices

Except as provided otherwise in these Terms & Conditions, all notices, requests, instructions, and other communications given to Electricians Trading Point by You must be given in writing by hand delivery in return for a receipt, sent certified or registered mail (return receipt requested), by email to sales@electricianstradingpoint.com.au
